An earlier version of the Rage Pro where they reused a AGP 2x branded chip for a PCI card. The card includes the hardware that was previously sold separately as TV Wonder Pro. It has a tuner and Video In/Out capabilitites and it is possible to capture video signals up to 720x288 at 50 fps. The Rage Pro has a new triangle setup engine, improvements in perspective correction, fog support, transparency implementation, specular lighting and DVD support. It supports also AGP features like texturing and pipelining. Performance is compareable to NVidia Riva128.
The Rage Pro has ATI CIF support (ATIs own proprietary 3D rendering API).

Quality is good. There is rarely a stutter in sound playback but overall ok.
I used the same driver package as for the Rage 128.

DVD Menu worked, no problems with PAL resolutions.
