The RageXL is the cost reduced and die shrunk version of the Rage Pro. It has reduced power consumption and reduced clocks. Thus the RageXL is slower than a regular Rage Pro. It was often used as solution on server mainboards until 2006 and was finally subseded by ATi ES1000.
The Rage Pro has ATI CIF support (ATIs own proprietary 3D rendering API).

Quality is good. There is rarely a stutter in sound playback but overall ok.
I used the same driver package as for the Rage 128.
DVD Menu worked, no problems with PAL resolutions.
