This floppy disk controller card allows to add up to four additional drives. It brings its own BIOS with support of 5.25" DD/HD, 3.5" DD,HD,ED and PS/2 drives. The cards BIOS allows to overcome mainboard BIOS limitations that may support 360 kB drives only. Also external drives can be connected.
The DMA DACK/DRQ jumpers must have to the same channel setting as the DIP switches 5,6.
When using the card as Standard Floppy Controller with I/O port set to 3F0h (jumpers removed), then IRQ must be 6 and DMA must be 2, which are the default values for a primary floppy controller.
