The board has 256 kB L2 Cache, a CMD640 PCI IDE controller and supports an optional 3.3V voltage regulator module for later 486 CPUs.
It uses an Dallas RTC and has an Phoenix 486 PCI PnP BIOS 4.04. A maximum of 128 MB RAM is supported. The chipset and BIOS supports Write-Back caching.
The CMD640 PCI IDE controller has a hardware bug that can corrupt data when using HDD and another device as Floppy simultaneously.
Later OS such as Windows 95 have a workaround for this bug included. This however reduces performance by 10%.
