The Weitek Power P9100 is a 64 bit GUI accelerator incorporating the Weitek 5186 core for VGA compatibility. These cards came either with 2 or 4 MB VRAM (G1-2 / G1-4) and 170 MHz or 220 MHz DAC (G1-4 / G1-4H). They are fast in windows for an early PCI card. Since the VESA compatibility of the Weitek 5186 core is bad the driver developers implemented a hack: In the DOS window of Windows 9x you do not get a copy of the BIOS VBE extension but the graphics driver provides a full featured VBE 3.0 BIOS with much better VESA support (see VESA Info).
