This is the dual CPU version of the Gigabyte GA-586HX board. Supported CPUs are P54C and P55C in Dual CPU operation, 6x86, 6x86L, 6x86MX, K5, PODP in Single CPU operation with 50/55/60/66 MHz FSB. Multipliers are 1.5x - 3x. Voltages are 3.3 V in single Voltage mode and 2.8 V core in dual Voltage mode. The board has 512 kB pipelined burst cache and supports FPM and EDO up to 512 MB. The cacheable area is 512 MB with the additional Tag-RAM plugged (DIL socket in lower left corner of second CPU socket). The BIOS is from Award and a socketed Dallas type RTC is used to buffer the CMOS. Adaptec offered the ARO-113X card for the RAID Port slot. A former owner put small blue coolers on the main chips.
