The Matrox Mystique supports 3D acceleration on DirectX3- level. It does not support bilinear filtering, fogging, mipmapping and true transparency. For transparency stippled alpha is used. The driver supports also Matrox own 3D API called Matrox Simple Interface (MSI). The chipset supports MPEG-1 video acceleration. The RAM can be upgraded to max. 8 MB with a memory expansion board. Interestingly the Box states only 158 MHz RAM DAC clock.
