This cards is configured by software (ISA-PnP).
The Sound Blaster AWE32 is capable of Stereo playback at 44 kHz 16 bit.
This card has DSP 4.13.
On the Soundblaster 32 IDE PnP the EMU8000 part has no soldered RAM and brings just 1 MB ROM with uncomressed samples. This prevents using AWEUTIL for emulation as it requires 512 kB RAM. However the card has SIMM slots. With memory plugged the EMU8000 part is functional identical to a AWE32. There is no waveblaster connector. FM synthesis is provided through Creatives own CQM method.
The SB16 part is similar to the CT2940.
